So I decided to make a page for the Toon Squad basketball team. We'll see if this catches on as far as game times and other forms of communication.
To start off, last season went very well. Although we did not finish as we may have hoped to, we did come in 5th out of 18 teams which is a great starting point.
Our goal is to win the recreational league and eventually take on the real players in the competitive league. Although our rosters may not be identical each season, the same general motto still applies, "You play to win the game."
That said, if you are a part of the Toon Squad, you are expected to work hard and play hard every week.
Also, several members of the team have been regularly putting themselves through off-season workouts. If you are interested in joining us, call Gray (205-937-1487) or Ross (205-907-3459).
